Stories where curious mice find their way home

Two Town Mice is an independent studio making children's picture books with warm watercolor textures, playful ink linework, and gentle pacing. We craft original tales for bedtime reading, classroom storytime, and the small quiet moments in between.

Studio milestones

A Decade of Quiet Stories

From a single hand-drawn mouse to a shelf of picture books, our journey has been shaped by small moments and patient hands.

2015

The First Sketchbook

Two Town Mice began as a single watercolor mouse named Pip, drawn on a kitchen table for a bedtime story that never made it to print.

2017

First Commissioned Storybook

A local family asked us to turn their daughter's imaginary friend into a printed book. That project taught us how personal storytelling works.

2020

Activity Kits for Classrooms

Teachers began requesting printable companions to our books. We launched downloadable kits with coloring pages and gentle writing prompts.

2022

Partnership with Small Publishers

We started offering print-ready layouts and character design services to independent presses looking for a handmade feel.

2024

The Woodland Series

Our three-book series about curious mice and their forest neighbors found a steady audience in bedtime routines and library storytimes.

2025

Creative Workshops for Young Readers

We now host small illustration workshops where children learn to draw their own characters and build simple story arcs together.
